SEATTLE — Oct. 14, 2021 – HTC VIVE today announced VIVE Flow, a tiny, lightweight immersive eyewear device from HTC VIVE, transports users anywhere they want or need to go – anytime, anywhere. VIVE Flow was created with comfort and portability in mind, allowing users to discover moments of peace and well-being throughout the day, including:
- Meditation 2.0 with apps like TRIPP, or taking a scenic, immersive drive down Route 66 with MyndVR’s original series: A Road to Remember
- Watching TV or movies on their own personal, cinema-sized VR screen
- Exercising their minds with brain training apps
- Collaborating and socializing with colleagues and friends on VIVE Sync
VIVE Flow, which will be available in November, is designed to help individuals nourish their minds, relax, and have fun on a daily basis, as well as go with the flow.

VIVE Flow weighs about the same as a chocolate bar and is designed to fit seamlessly into your life. Its dual-hinge design and soft face gasket allow it to fold down into a small footprint, making it easy to transport. The VIVE Flow’s innovative hinge is made to fit a wide range of head sizes and shapes. Its face gasket is inspired by the famous VIVE Focus 3, with magnetic connections that make swapping it out simple and quick – ideal for sharing. The built-in diopter dials on the VIVE Flow allow users to quickly change the diopter for crystal clear vision. Its active cooling mechanism draws warm air away from your face, keeping you cool all day long.
VIVE Flow, on the other hand, opens up new worlds with unprecedented on-the-go immersion. With a high 3.2K resolution and a smooth 75 Hz refresh rate, cinematic displays allow you to lose yourself in HD quality entertainment with a wide 100-degree field of view. Following the debut of VIVE Flow, HTC VIVE is now announcing a new VIVEPORT subscription package. The service costs $5.99 per month and includes unrestricted access to a variety of immersive apps that focus on well-being, brain training, productivity, light gaming, and special content such as a Lo-Fi lounge that looks and feels a comfortable café.

VIVE Flow comes with a matching carry case that gives you peace of mind no matter where you go. Separately, a small yet strong 10,000mAh VIVE power bank can be purchased to extend battery life on long days.
VIVE Flow is available for USD $499 / £499 / and 549€. It will be available at merchants throughout the world as well as via https://www.vive.com/vive-flow. Pre-orders begin on October 14 worldwide, and those who do so will receive the official VIVE Flow travel case as well as a seven-piece content gift bundle. The first open sales will take place in November 2021.
